Lantern Parade drop-in workshop with Light Whale International and Peterborough Presents

Lantern Parade drop-in workshop with Light Whale International and Peterborough Presents

Join this special workshop led by the team who produces the Eye Lantern Parade. It’s a drop-in session where you can make a lantern, make a badge or do some creative doodling whilst having a brew.

The workshop is part of a day of activity celebrating Manor Farm Community Centre’s 40th anniversary. Peterborough Presents is proud to be bringing this workshop to help celebrate the Centre’s birthday. Over the last 4 years, our partnership with Manor Farm has helped to create two lantern parades, outdoor exhibitions, heritage talks, and art workshops. To be part of the centres 40th anniversary is great and it feels good to be included.

About the workshop:
The workshop is free and drop-in. It will take around 1.5- 2 hours to make a lantern from beginning to end. If you don’t have the time, then you can make a badge or doodle some decorations instead. Materials are provided and there will be tea, coffee, juice, and biscuits.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Workshops are FREE. No need to book.
