There’s a 90-minute special livestream event, bringing deaf women together in Peterborough on International Women’s Day, hosted by Nadia Nadarajah celebrating Deaf women’s creativity and empowerment.

This is an extended 90-minute live-streaming talk show planned for March 20, 2026, celebrating Deaf women’s creativity and empowerment. Hosted by Deaf artist Nadia Nadarajah, the event will feature a panel of Deaf women and include an interactive Fluid Art activity led by Deaf artist Vicky Barber-Crimes. It will also highlight the story of a local Deafblind woman. The show will be filmed and live-streamed from Native Space Studios with full BSL access and captioning, expecting 150-200 viewers online.
The target audience is Deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent people and young adults
More about Nadia
Nadia Nadarajah has over 15 years’ experience delivering creative, accessible work, collaborating with institutions like the National Gallery and Tate Modern. Since March 2025, she has been the creator and host of Thrive Live, a monthly BSL-accessible talk show produced with CDA. She is also part of the Creative Programme team for the Edinburgh Deaf Festival.
