We are creating a special film that celebrates Millfield, called Millfield of Dreams. We are looking for one child or group of siblings to star as the “hero children” of the film! Enter our competition for your child / children to star as the “Hero Children” of the film!
What is Millfield of Dreams?
A powerful film by Mark Murphy, featuring real communities in the Millfield & Gladstone areas. Bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds, this ambitious project will highlight the area’s unique heritage and cultural diversity. Filming will take place in February 2025, with the film expected to be released in May/June 2025.
The film will be a bit like a jigsaw puzzle, where people’s everyday lives and homes will be celebrated, how the communities in Millfield all fit together. And we would love you to be part of the jigsaw! As a symbol of togetherness, the film will take the side of a house as the “canvas”, and look into the rooms of the house to reveal the many wonderful residents. Below are some digital sketches of what the final film might look like.
