A song about Millfield
Listen to this warm, feel-good, cheesy song all about Millfield!
As part of our Millfield Link project, we commissioned local Lithuanian poet Judita Grubliene to write a poem about what Millfield means to her and her community. The words of the poem are a mix of English and Lithuanian and talk about the history and favourite spaces in the area.
We then gave Judita’s poem to Egle Macinkeviciene (EllieMar). Together with Motyva Lithuanian Choir and her band A Presto, turned the poem into a beautiful song!
Original poem by Judita Grubliene
Song by James Harrison and Egle Marcinkeviciene
