Our friends at Westraven Community Garden hosted a Family Fun Day to celebrate Easter.
There were lots of activities including an Easter Egg hunt, a live art jam, snacks and drinks. We brought a fun stop-motion animation activity using playdoh and props! People enjoyed spending time making a scene for a community film that was made throughout the day. We’ll also had our wonderful carnival face painters there to add some patterns and sparkle to your faces – adults took part in both as well as kids!

What To Expect
A lively, outdoor family fun day for the local community to get together and take part in simple, fun activities in the beautiful Westraven Community Garden. Some activities will be Easter themed, some themed on nature and the natural environment, some just a good bit of fun! Our filmmaking activities will be free to take part in and suitable for anyone aged 5+. Face painting and other activities will be free or a low cost / donation everywhere else. No need to book, just turn up.
Access Information
Westraven Community Garden is a typical outdoor garden environment, so the surface is full of natural bumps and grooves. The entrance is a flat tarmac and step-free access.
There is a compost toilet on site.
Pedestrian access to the garden involves walking along a grass verge along Hartwell Way.
