 A club for all things carnival! Learn new skills, make new friends, get to know different cultures, and have loads of feel-good fun!

All sessions take place on Saturdays, 1pm-3pm at
Millfield Community Association, Lincoln Road (behind the Bridge Club)
Unit 3, New England Complex, 1 Lincoln Rd, Peterborough PE1 2PE

Open to all. Family friendly. Children must be accompanied.
Please wear comfy clothes and shoes, and bring a costume or traditional cultural clothes if you want.

Learn from experts Mandinga Arts and each other about the magic of carnival! Dance and movement styles from around the world, performing with props, costumes and folklore, and more. Each session will be a bit like a party mixed with a dance lesson! As a group we will create performances that celebrate all the people and cultures who call Peterborough home.

Plus, those that want to can be part of a colourful carnival performance at Millfield Festival on 5th August 2023. In 2022 we ran a mini carnival as part of Millfield Festival, and it was a big success, so we’ve created this club!
