What to expect

In this walk, you will explore Westwood as a group, wandering through the open green spaces and streets, taking pictures as you go. Focusing on nature and the outdoors, Katie will share tips and tricks on how she goes about taking photos as inspiration for her art.

Discover new and old things about the neighbourhood from behind the camera lens, and take inspiration from everyday objects and scenery. There will be an optional scavenger hunt checklist to complete while we walk!

It will be a friendly group of up to 20 people. We’d love it for people to chat as they walk, sharing any stories or memories you might have about the neighbourhood.

Your photos will also help inspire a new mural Katie is creating at Westwood shops!

The route will begin and end at Westraven Community Garden at the back of Hartwell Way (past Ravensthorpe school). At the end of the walk we will have a cuppa and some biscuits and share pictures with each other.
