We’re seeking an independent chair for our Consortium!

Many of you know that we are managed by a brilliant group of partners including Nene Park, Metal, PCVS, PCC, Creative Lives, Cross Keys Homes and Eastern Angles. As a ‘consortium’ of partners, we meet quarterly to oversee the PP programme.

We are looking for a confident facilitator who can fulfill the role of Independent Chair for our consortium as we embark on our 2026-29 programme. It is rare opportunity and an excellent time to join Peterborough Presents Consortium.

It’s a voluntary role with expenses paid amounting to approximately 8 days per year.

If you / someone you know might be the brilliant person we need to guide us through the next 3 - 4 years… please get in touch!

Got any questions? Want to have a chat first?

On August 14, 1947, the new Dominion of Pakistan officially gained independence and came into being as a sovereign nation, ending British colonial rule. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was sworn in as the first Governor-General of Pakistan in Karachi, and the day marked the historic partition of British India.

Happy Friday y’all!

We had a brilliantly inspiring trip to @ndacaproje We had a brilliantly inspiring trip to @ndacaproject yesterday in High Wycombe, supported by our friends @shapearts. NDACA stands for the National Disability Arts Collection & Archive. Some fabulous pieces in the collection. We were shown around by Alex Cowan (project archivist) who really brought the collection to life with his knowledge, history and pointers to other inspirational art. It’s thrown up loads of ideas for future RAD programme and ambitions, ways we can celebrate our own DDN creative in Peterborough. Ways to diversify art forms, work in partnership, how to show work from the past alongside work of today and the future. And, how creativity is always great at bringing people of different disabilites and different perspectives together. Huge thanks to our Julie Fernandez for arranging and to @museum_aimi who joined us from the museum. So much food for thought.

Side note - Alex told us of a great project somewhere where there was a fantastic view. Alongside the path there was a handrail with braille on it that described the view as you walked down the steps. Nice!
